Domain Verification Pending on Vercel Even After Adding Required DNS Records

I’m trying to connect my custom domain wce.acm.org to my Vercel project, but the domain status is still showing “Verification Needed”.

Vercel indicates that this domain is linked to another Vercel account and asks me to add a TXT record for ownership verification. I’ve already added all the required DNS records (CNAME and TXT) exactly as shown in the Vercel dashboard on my domain host (ACM’s hosting provider).

Despite this:

• DNS records are correctly added and saved on the host

• I’ve waited sufficient time for DNS propagation

• Clicking Refresh still shows “Verification Pending”

I want to confirm:

• Is there any additional step needed when a domain was previously connected to another Vercel account?

• Can DNS caching or proxy settings cause this even when records are correct?

• Is removing the domain from the old Vercel project mandatory before verification succeeds?
