Hi,

I’m currently running my Vercel Functions in bom1 (Mumbai), and I want to move the project’s single Function region to dxb1 (Dubai) because my Firestore database is in Google Cloud me-central2.

In the Vercel dashboard I see:

“Dubai, United Arab Emirates (dxb1) is currently under maintenance and cannot be used as a target region. Please select a different region.”

Deployments also fail with:

“The region dxb1 is currently unavailable. Please select a different region for your deployment.”

I only need one Function region, so the Hobby one-region limit is not an issue.

Could someone from Vercel please confirm:

Is dxb1 temporarily unavailable for all deployments? Is this maintenance/capacity related, or related to the Hobby plan? Is there any ETA for dxb1 to become available again? Would upgrading to Pro change anything while dxb1 is under maintenance?
