When i start a new chat, be it inside and existent project or a new project, I never see the left nav/bar where Settings, Connections, Vars etc are…
The only way I can get a chat that has that, is if i continue with an original chat that has that left nav available and start a new chat from within the last Project state/commit (the entry with the blue glow stroke). This doesn’t make sense? It must be a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Do you see these little arrows? They control whether the sidebar is minimized, is it possible you hit it by mistake?
No such bar exists…. I truly believe this is a bug, or I am really missing something…
To restate and clarify - I simply do not see any settings bar with any new chat I create. it isn’t collapsed, it is simply just not available for me.
Oh I see the issue – v0 has a Q&A mode where it just answers your questions without creating a codebase for you, and your recent chats are marked that way. In this mode, you don’t see a code preview, file tree, or sidebar for the code project settings.
I can’t see what you said exactly, but the bar should appear as soon as v0 generates some code for you
