Currently, AI Gateway only supports a single BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) per team. This limitation means we cannot use different API keys for different environments, such as Preview and Production.
It would be very helpful if AI Gateway supported environment-specific keys—similar to how Vercel Environment Variables work. This would allow teams to manage separate API keys per environment while still benefiting from AI Gateway’s monitoring and usage features.
