From affordable to abusive: what happened to V0?

V0 has completely lost the focus on its users. Everything now revolves around squeezing more money, nothing else.

At first, it felt affordable, like they actually wanted to build a community. But little by little the mask fell off. Prices that used to be 0.02 or 0.05 are suddenly 0.20, with no explanation other than “that’s how it is.”

Support is always the same robotic replies: “we’ll send it to the team.” Nothing ever changes. They created -sm mode just to calm people down when the outrage started, and now this so-called agent mode shows up, charging whatever it wants whenever it wants.

It’s impossible to trust a company that keeps raising prices and offering less. Before, with $30 you could easily do more than 100 prompts. Today, you’re lucky if you even hit that number.

Nobody speaks well of V0 anymore, except the team itself or their friends who barely even use it. The ones who are here every day, using V0 24/7, are all saying the same thing: prices are absurd and keep getting worse.

And what do we get in return? Always the same copy-paste answer. They have time to sit in some pointless video conference, but when users ask for fair prices, nothing changes.

This new agent mode is a joke, charging amounts that simply make no sense. The trust is gone, the patience is gone. People just want fair pricing, not endless excuses.

I totally agree. Somehow the price is increased. Also when you mention an error, it sometimes does not fix and create more problems. Makes us delete the prompt and write a new one, which is a waste of credits.

In the last two weeks it’s been super buggy too. And the new fun one is getting stuck in a loop reviewing it’s own work, eating up credits until you stop it and the original prompt was not solved… fun stuff!
