Generation Keeps Pausing

Recently I have been developing a discord bot so I decided to pay for vercel v0 AI to help me. It has been fine and has actually developed a good bot up until today. I asked it to create new features and mid way through generation it paused and didn’t give me any information, so I had to ask it to regenerate and not pause this time. It did eventually do it but then I had some issues with the code it generated which is fine as it usually happens. But when I asked it to fix the issues it paused the generation again, I then asked it to regenerate again and then when I submitted the message it said something like ‘Ok, I will regenerate the features you asked for …’ then it didn’t even start editing and just said generating for like 15 mins. I think asked it again and it worked again but then paused once again. I am a bit annoyed as I paid for this and it basically just scammed me out of all my credits as I had to regenerate about 10 times more than I should have.

If someone could please explain why this is happening or if a member of the Vercel team could maybe give me some more credits since I have paid.

Hello, I don’t know how long your prompts are, but if you ask for something excessive, the agent may pause or stop. If that happens, you can send a simple “continue generating.” What I recommend is to go step by step, not sending everything you want in a single prompt.

First, make me a simple login.
Second, make me a dashboard linked to the login.
Third, make me a module to link APIs.
Etc.

In the end, you’ll spend the same as you would on a large prompt, but you’ll have a better chance of getting it right.
