Automatic deployments are not triggering on push to GitHub, on two separate projects in my account (skolasport-web and a freshly created skolasport-web-dgbf), both connected to the same GitHub repo (traviotur-svg/skolasport), branch main.
What I've verified so far:
- GitHub App "Vercel" is installed with "All repositories" access, only one installation on the account
- Project Settings → Git: repository connected,
deployment_statusandrepository_dispatchevents enabled, Production Branch correctly set tomain - Login Connection (Account Settings → Authentication): GitHub is connected and active
- Commit author email matches a verified GitHub email (checked via
git config user.emailvs GitHub → Settings → Emails) - Root Directory is
apps/web(monorepo); several of the non-triggering commits contain real file changes within that directory, not just changes outside it - "Ignored Build Step" is set to "Automatic" (default/untouched) on both projects
- No
vercel.jsonin the repo (sogit.deploymentEnabledisn't the cause) - Manual "Redeploy" from the dashboard works every time without issue
- Disconnecting and reconnecting the Git integration didn't help
- Vercel status page shows all systems operational
Multiple pushes over several hours, none triggered a deployment on either project. Manual redeploy is working as a stopgap, but I'd like to understand why the GitHub → Vercel automatic trigger isn't firing. Any pointers on what else to check, or whether this needs to be escalated internally, would be appreciated.
