Hello Vercel Community and Support Team,
I am requesting assistance with temporarily restoring access to my existing Vercel Blob storage.
Account Information
Team: sold-8059
Project: qret-zip-market-registry
Plan: Hobby
Problem
Our Vercel Blob Simple Operations usage reached approximately 12,000 operations against the 10,000-operation Hobby allowance.
As a result, access to our Blob storage has been suspended.
Our application maintains a directory of 72 approved ZIP Market Snapshots for an interactive real estate map. Six original registrations remain accessible, but 66 additional approved registrations are stored in the restricted Blob storage.
The existing records remain listed in storage, but attempts to retrieve their contents return HTTP 403.
Root Cause Identified and Corrected
On November 2, 2026, we deployed programming improvements to address the excessive usage.
These improvements include:
- Replacing approximately 66 individual directory reads with one consolidated directory read.
- Improving caching to reduce unnecessary storage requests.
- Preventing unnecessary storage writes when market information has not changed.
- Protecting against repeated requests that bypass caching.
The changes have passed automated tests and have been deployed to production.
Request for Assistance
Would a Vercel team member consider providing a one-time courtesy usage boost or temporary access to our existing Blob storage?
Even temporary read-only access would allow us to recover the existing approved registrations and complete our consolidated directory.
The automated "Unblock My Account" option returned an error because our team is not soft-blocked. The restriction applies specifically to our Blob storage usage limit.
We are not requesting a new Blob store or the deletion of any existing data.
We would appreciate any assistance or guidance on restoring access before the rolling 30-day restriction expires.
Thank you for your consideration.
