Hello Vercel team — my Hobby team irfanahmd’s project received an approaching your limits email notification and that it has exceeded the Fluid Active CPU limit (currently at 4h 5m in the last 30 days) after a usage spike. I’ve since identified and shipped mitigations to stay underlimit to the underlying code that was causing the high CPU usage.
Could you confirm that my project will not be paused due to this temporary overage, and that the deployment pipeline remains active.
First off, great job on identifying and fixing the CPU usage issue! That’s exactly the right approach.
For Hobby plan limits, Vercel typically doesn’t pause projects immediately when you exceed limits - there’s usually a bit of a grace period. Since you’ve already deployed a fix and the optimized version is live, your projects may continue to run normally without being paused.
The “Fluid Active CPU” metric will reset 30 days from when you first exceeded, and with your fix in place, you should see the usage drop significantly.
You can monitor your current usage in the Vercel Dashboard under the Usage tab to confirm the fix is working. If you continue to see high CPU usage after the deployment, you might want to investigate further or consider upgrading to a Pro plan for higher limits.
