Hi everyone,
My Vercel account was recently downgraded to the Hobby plan. After that, my Vercel Blob store reached the included Hobby usage limits for Simple Requests and Advanced Requests.
I understand that additional Blob operations may be paused on the Hobby plan, and I am not asking for higher limits or continued usage.
My issue is that I need to export my existing private data from Vercel Blob so I can migrate it to another storage provider.
Right now, even read/download access to my private Blob objects appears to return 403 Forbidden. The Vercel dashboard also does not allow me to download the objects manually.
This data includes application session JSON files, transcripts, reports, PDFs, and user feedback from my own project. I do not need to keep using Blob. I only need a way to retrieve/export my existing data.
What is the recommended path for this situation?
Ideally, I need one of these options:
- temporary read-only access to the Blob store,
- a way to generate/download a full export of all Blob objects,
- a short unlock window so I can migrate the data out,
- or a documented API/CLI method that still works for export when write/usage operations are paused.
To clarify: this is not a request for technical debugging support or higher free-tier limits. It is a data export/access question for private customer data already stored in Vercel Blob.
Has anyone handled this before, or is there a recommended escalation path for export-only access?
Thank you.
