Hi Vercel Community,

I need help migrating my personal portfolio from one Vercel Hobby account to another while keeping the exact same URL.

Destination personal team slug: priyanshuchavda999-gmailcoms-projects

I have access to both Vercel accounts. The project transfer dropdown does not show my destination personal Hobby team. When I deploy the repository under my personal Vercel account and try to add priyansuchavda.vercel.app, Vercel says the domain is already assigned to another team.

The domain is still connected to my original project, and I have not removed it because preserving this exact URL is very important to me.

I understand that the project transfer dropdown may not support transfers between separate Hobby teams.

My questions are:

Is there a supported way to move this existing vercel.app subdomain to my personal Hobby project?

Can Vercel reassign it between teams without releasing it for someone else to claim?

If I remove it from the source project, is there a risk that I will not be able to reclaim the same name?

Is there a safer migration process that preserves the URL and minimizes downtime?

I would appreciate advice from someone familiar with Vercel's domain and project-transfer behavior.
