How to reclaim a Vercel slug from a deleted account

Problem

I am trying to reclaim my slug indicius but the system won’t let me.

Context

  • The slug I’m trying to claim: indicius
  • Previous account: tomas@indicius.com (this account has been deleted)
  • Association: The account was associated with our company (Indicius)

Any help on how I can achieve this? Thanks!

When Vercel accounts are deleted, there’s a buffer period before their slugs become available:

  • 48 hours for personal accounts
  • 7 days for team accounts

How long ago has it been since you deleted the account?

Hi Pauline, I would say more than 7 days for sure, but maybe less than 2 weeks.
