How to unpublish/remove a site published to v0.build over a year ago?

Hi everyone,

Over a year ago, I created a landing page through a v0 chat conversation and it was published to a v0.build subdomain (not deployed to Vercel - just published directly from v0). However, I cannot find any UI option to unpublish or remove this published site.

I’ve checked:

  • The “Share” button (only shares the chat itself)
  • Projects section (the project doesn’t appear there)
  • Settings in the chat interface
  • There’s no “Published” badge or “Unpublish” button visible anywhere

The site was published directly from the chat over a year ago, not saved as a formal project. I’m on the free plan, so I only have access to community support.

How can I unpublish or remove a site that was published from a v0 chat? Is there a way to do this through the UI that I’m missing, or has the UI changed since then? Or do these sites expire automatically after a certain period?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @meso, welcome to the Vercel Community!

I’m sorry for the confusion. You can take down a published v0 app by deleting the chat from the chat view or the project > chats page:

If this doesn’t work for you, feel free to share the URL of the app you want us to take down.

requesting removal of published project need help

Hi @enzzodesigns, welcome to the Vercel Community!

You can delete your chat as shared in the image earlier to remove this link.

i did but i can still access the link

I see. I think you may have the v0 project still in your v0 account. Do you have access to Vercel.com? If so, you can visit your v0 project inside Vercel and then delete that project to permanently remove this URL.
