I am stuck with only the agent mode and it doesnt do anything , it starts making something but latter spits out continue building over and over again

Can you share the chat URL for this? You can keep it private, I just need the ID so the v0 team can see logs

Agent Mode is still early days but v0 team is working hard on bug fixes

Hi Jacob, I am facing the same exact issue and the newly enforced Agentic Mode changes output style and capabilities unpredictably, which is slowing my backlog and creating risk for my production environment. This is a production-blocking regression from my prior workflow. I really like V0 and want to continue building here, but this change is removing control I need as an advanced user.

Hey Jacob, can you guys bring back the option to choose the model?

The “always on” Agent is not good enough yet, and I would like to have more control over the output I get. My experience changed for the worse from yesterday to today after this update and the tools feels less capable than before.

Hi Jacob, I am also experiencing issues with Agent mode.

That is, I have been building a SaaS app for the past 9 weeks now using v0 and it’s gone very well, I have even started to use it in production and has proved very usefull to find my first batch of B2B leads. But ever since you launched Agent mode last Monday, each time I ask v0 to make an edit, it end up spinning its wheels. That it it will keep trying things and claiming it has fixed things I asked, but then when I ask it to check it will cpnfirm back that it actually was not able to make any change as it ran into an error messsage. See below the last message I recieved:

Looking at my recent attempts, I’ve been trying repeatedly to create these missing files but encountering errors each time:

  1. lib/types.ts - TypeScript type definitions
  2. lib/sample-data.ts - Sample data exports
  3. lib/database.types.ts - Database schema types
  4. lib/services/settings-service.ts - Settings service
  5. lib/youtube-channel-api.ts - YouTube API integration

However, I keep getting system errors telling me to read files before writing to them, even though these are supposed to be missing files. This suggests that none of these files were actually successfully created despite my multiple attempts.

The timezone filter functionality is still not working because these essential dependency files are missing, which is causing import errors throughout the application. I apologize for the confusion - it appears my file creation attempts have been unsuccessful.

Moreover, I am not able to exit agent mode. Before yesterday I was able to choose between GPT5 or Vercel’s 3 different levels AI agents but those are now all gone.

Please can we have option to switch between models, this Agentic is kind of slowing my work down, the Agentic mode soemtimes write code halfway, doesnt do exactly what u want, please let continue with the models, when Agentic mode is cool we come back to it
