Hi everyone! I’m Andrea, I’m 24 and I’m from Italy. Over the past months I’ve been building Aula, a free way to learn a language through the places and culture behind it.
I started it because the language apps I had tried usually kept me interested for a few weeks, but eventually began to feel like disconnected exercises. I wanted grammar to be explained clearly, but I also wanted to feel that I was discovering the country while learning how people actually speak.
Aula’s first complete course teaches Spanish through a journey across Spain, one city at a time. It includes 200 cities and lessons from A1 to C2, combining grammar, vocabulary, exercises, listening, dictation, conversations and local culture.
It also remembers the mistakes you make and brings them back when they are useful, instead of treating every exercise as something isolated.
Spanish is the first course, but the idea is to use the same approach for other languages and countries in the future.

I’m still building it, so honest feedback is genuinely useful — especially on the onboarding and whether the city-by-city idea feels clear when you first open it.
