Received an email that I was missing a payment method to renew my domain. I discarded it, will take care of it the weekend.
Received a second one, sure, let’s get to it.
- I directly go to my Vercel dashboard… Oh cool I got a notification about that, I don’t have to open my email.
Try to find payments… DNS Records… Nameservers… SSL Certificates… Ok maybe in the 3 dots over here? Nop.
Why did they redirect me here?
Once I went to the email and read “there were no valid payment methods with your team’s account” I realized this would be something about the teams/domains migration made months ago and went to check my team settings instead of the domain page the redirection got me into.
Correct redirect:
https://vercel.com/[team]/~/settings/billing
Additional improvements:
- Notification should be changed to: “hodeinavarro.dev’s team is missing a payment source” instead of it referring to the domain missing a payment source.
