Improving Vercel status page accuracy and regional incident reporting

Many people have business-critical applications running on Vercel.

The status page shows degraded performance only for the dxb1 region, however it is occurring in multiple regions. Developers rely on status pages and subscriptions to status page alerts to make our own incident management decisions.

It is critical that the status page properly reflects all services and regions impacted by an incident, and that updates are provided regularly.

I completely agree with this thought. We’ve raised this perspective internally and the team is working to update the status page, as they are trying to solve the issue.

Thanks @anshumanb, appreciate the quick response, and the Vercel team’s efforts to resolve the incident!

Perhaps having a dedicated Communications Lead would be helpful so the engineers can do their thing without distraction, and the status page stays up to date.
