Hello everyone,
I'm Serkan, Founder at IronBee. A couple of week ago, we launched our Vercel integration, and I'd love your feedback on it.
The problem we kept hitting
Preview deployments are one of the best things about Vercel, but a preview is only useful if someone actually opens it and clicks through the change. With AI agents writing more of our code, PRs got bigger and more frequent, and "looks good to me" reviews got thinner. Bugs were shipping from previews nobody had really tested.
What IronBee does
Once installed, IronBee runs on every preview deployment as a Vercel Deployment Check:
- Reads the change. It looks at what the commit changed and works out which user flows are affected.
- Drives the preview in a real browser. It tests against your real backend, on the exact build Vercel just deployed.
- Collects evidence. You get screenshots, network requests, console logs and OpenTelemetry traces, and you can watch the run live in the IronBee Console.
- Reports the verdict. Pass or fail shows up under Deployment Checks and on the PR, with the evidence attached and a suggested fix pointing at the code that caused the issue.

What it doesn't do
- No workflow file and no test suite to maintain. IronBee writes the scenarios itself and keeps them up to date as your app changes.
- It doesn't slow your deploys. Vercel builds exactly as before, and the check reports on the deployment once it's ready.
- It doesn't make you open up your previews. Protected previews stay protected: IronBee can use your Vercel automation bypass secret, or Vercel can verify an OIDC token that IronBee signs, so no secret has to be pasted anywhere.
Setup (in 2 minutes)
- Install IronBee from the Vercel Marketplace.
- Confirm your team and projects on the "Connect Vercel to IronBee" page.
- Connect the GitHub App so IronBee can see the code behind each deployment.
- Open a PR and watch the check run.

What I'd love feedback on
- Would you trust an automated check like this to block a promotion to production, or only to inform it?
- What's the flow in your app you'd most want tested on every preview?
- Anything confusing in the setup, especially around Deployment Protection?
Happy to answer questions here.
