Hi all: I have the v0 student version. I saw that v0 for students is free for a year, but I am wondering though, is this premium version the “real” premium version? Asking because premium version is said to give 20 dollars per month worth of work, but I only get 5 dollars. Thanks!
Hey! To help debug your v0 project, could you share your v0 chat link?
It looks like https://v0.app/chat/... — you can copy it from your browser's address bar while in the chat.
You'll also need to unlist the chat so our team can view it — here's how: https://v0.app/docs/sharing
This helps the team reproduce what you're seeing much faster. Thanks!
This is not a project problem, this is a request concerning the v0 student version. Please help
It should be! But let me check
It's worth checking if you are actually on the right account too!
I logged in with my academic email address and was working on that address (I did my student verification with that address, it was successful). This is the only account I am using. Because of me having 5$ instead of 20$ like it is indicated for the premium version, I had to purchase the premium version… Even though I am already signed up for the same thing for free…. Additionally, I did not really work as much, but my credits dropped already to half in less than 48 hours… Please tell me that I am missing something
Hi please help…
I’ve got the same issue. Signed up with student but only looking at $5 a month in credits.
Are you folks talking about this plan?
Yep! When I logged in for the first time it seemed to auto-apply because I used my student email.
Hi , just following up on this!
Hello I also registered in v0 using my school email ending at .edu.ph and I only got free plan instead of premium. Just wondering if v0 only accepts selected universities and doesn't accept universities outside U.S like the Philippines? Thank you
Still no update on that... I have a lot of projects where I use v0, so I have been paying for months for something that should be free for students.... Seriously...?
Following up here
v0 for Students is limited to a set of active schools that currently qualify for the v0 for students program. Not all students have access to the program.
From v0.app/students:
To qualify, you need to be currently enrolled at one of our active schools and provide a valid student email address.
Students that verify their student status at an active school will receive 1 year of free v0 premium.
However, everyone is still welcome to use the v0 Free plan regardless of student status. I hope that makes sense!
