Subject: Feedback on v0 Mini AI Quality, Credit Consumption, and Free Tier

Hello v0 Team,

I want to share my frustration with the current Mini AI model and the free credit system.

The current Mini model performs very poorly. Its coding ability, reasoning, and problem-solving are often disappointing, and it frequently struggles with tasks that a capable coding assistant should be able to handle. It can misunderstand simple instructions, make unnecessary changes, and fail to fix problems properly. This makes building and debugging projects much more difficult than it needs to be.

What makes this especially frustrating is how quickly credits are consumed. We end up spending credits on an AI that often produces poor results, requires repeated prompts to correct its mistakes, and sometimes creates even more problems than it solves. Burning through credits this quickly would be frustrating even with a good model, but with the current Mini AI, it feels particularly unfair.

I believe v0 should consider two improvements:

1. Provide a smarter Mini model. Free users deserve access to an AI that can reliably understand instructions, write functional code, debug errors, and complete tasks without requiring endless corrections. If a better model cannot be offered, the current Mini model's performance needs significant improvement.

2. Improve the free credit system. Instead of receiving just five credits per month, give free users five credits every day, resetting at midnight UTC. This would provide a total of up to 30 credits across six days, with the daily allowance refreshing consistently. This would make the free tier considerably more useful while still maintaining reasonable limits.

I understand that running AI models costs money, and I am not asking for unlimited free access to the most expensive models. I am asking for a reasonable balance between model quality, credit consumption, and accessibility.

At the moment, the combination of a weak AI model and rapidly disappearing credits makes the free experience extremely frustrating. Giving users a more capable Mini model and a fairer daily credit allowance would make v0 much more useful and encourage users to continue building with the platform.
