I am getting the error above when trying to connect custom domain
We are attempting to create SSL certificates for www.datatwired.co.za and datatwired.co.za asynchronously.
Hi @bnyakura, welcome to the Vercel Community!
It looks like you forgot to add the error here. Creating SSL certificates is automatic process.
Hi @bnyakura, thanks for sharing the images.
It looks like your domains are not configured correctly. I’d recommend following the Adding & Configuring a Custom Domain documentation and set them correctly.
I hope this helps.
That is what I have done, I have added the A record for the Apex domain and the CName record for the subdomain but I am still getting the errors
Hi @bnyakura, I’m sorry that you’re facing this issue. It can be a one-off issue. So, I’d request you to remove the domain from the project and try adding it again. Let me know if that solves it for you.
Ok let me do right away and update you
I am still getting the same error.
could it be the SSL error thats showing in the screenshots i sent?
Because from DNSCHecker it shows that my records have propagated
Hi @bnyakura, thanks for doing the steps. If you still see “Invalid configuration” in the domains section, then the issue is related to domains more than SSL because SSL will only be generated after the domains are configured correctly.
Hi @bnyakura, I notice from your configuration that the domain is datatwired.co.za
and not datawired.co.za
. Is that correct?
Because I see correct DNS records on datawired.co.za
but not the datatwired.co.za
.
Can you confirm the domain and see if the DNS has propagated correctly?
I’m using DNS Checker - DNS Check Propagation Tool to verify DNS records.
the domain is datawired.co.za
Got it and sorted the spelling issue thank you
