Lost Access to 2FA After Reinstalling OS – Need Help Recovering My Account

Hello,

(I’m posting this from a different Vercel account because I’m locked out of my main account.)

I’m unable to access my Vercel account because I no longer have access to my two-factor authentication (2FA) codes.

Previously, I used an authenticator application on my Windows machine for 2FA. Recently, I completely removed Windows and installed Linux. Unfortunately, I did not back up the authenticator data, and I no longer have access to the device/app that generated the codes.

Current situation:

  • I know my account credentials.
  • I still have access to the Google and GitHub accounts linked to my Vercel account.
  • I do not have recovery codes.
  • I did not set up a passkey.
  • Vercel is asking for a 2FA code that I can no longer generate.

Is there any way to recover access to my account or reset 2FA after verifying my identity?

I can provide account details, project information, and any other information needed to prove ownership of the account.

Thank you.

I am in the same boat and have emails Vercel since the weekend and not response. This is holding up my business. Does any one know another way to get a response or log in with out recovery codes or 2FA
