Lots of issues getting started: v0.dev UI does not work

tl;dr I’ve struggled to get the v0.dev UI to work and am giving up. Trying to keep the context short but happy to provide more details if I get a response

Context & Background:

• I saw Guillermo live Paradigm Frontiers demoing v0.dev on stage
• I wanted to build an ultra simple app to demo an idea I had
• I can get something working but am jumping through too many hoops

Motivation:

• My company (Grove) provides API/RPC endpoints to query blockchain data from 40+ blockchains
• I thought it’d be awesome to have a first-party integration so anyone building on v0.dev could easily access this as well
• Figured I’d show a demo if I’m serious about working together: https://v0-usdc.vercel.app/

The state of things:

• Got something working and deployed: : https://v0-usdc.vercel.app/
• Iterating on the codebase using v0.dev + gemini CLI + claude code so far: GitHub - Olshansk/usdc-experiment ; nothing handwritten yet.
• I can run it locally and deploy to Vercel

The problem:

• v0.dev’s screenshot show a successful UI, but the v0.dev UI doesn’t show any logs or preview
• I tried about half a dozen prompts to fix it, to no avail

The workaround:

• I can iterate on the frontend and backend locally and push to GitHub

Next Steps:

• I’d prefer to iterate on the backend / business logically
• I’d prefer to iterate on the frontend using v0.dev’s UI
• If we can make this work, I’d love to discuss how we can make accessing this data easier for others (getting an api key, avoiding the need to specify endpoints, parsing responses, etc)

Could you please share the exact issue because everything seems to be fine here. Are you having trouble in the preview? And what tech stack is the project using currently?

Yes.

And what tech stack is the project using currently?

I never checked. It was created by v0.dev, which is why I’d expect the imports/stack to work.

I opened your project link in my mobile browser and it seems to be working absolutely fine. Could you please try a different browser, update current browser, or load your project in your mobile.

@hasriza Wanted to confirm that I have gotten it working in a different browser, as well as Chrome incgonito.

I tried turning off ALL of my chrome extensions AND reloading my cache. Still, no luck.

Will follow up when I have more time to investigate and identify the root cause.
