I'm 14 and got tired of watching Claude Code's spinner do nothing for money -- so I built Meanwhile, a status line that shows you a disclosed sponsor line (clearly labeled) during the dead time while your agent is thinking, and pays you a real cut for it.
How it works --
- Wires into Claude Code / Copilot CLI's own supported statusLine setting, nothing patches your machine
- Runs on Cloudflare Workers -- a Durable Object serializes concurrent impression counts per ad campaign so nothing gets lost under load
- Workers AI generates a chunk of the non-sponsor tip lines, with a hard timeout fallback so it never blocks your status line
- Fully disclosed: every sponsor line is labeled as one, you always know which lines are ads
- Install: npx trymeanwhile -- restart your tool, that's it
