Hello Vercel Support,
I am experiencing connectivity problems accessing multiple Vercel deployments from Mogadishu, Somalia.
Affected websites:
Internet provider: Hormuud Telecom Somalia
ASN: AS37371
Location: Mogadishu, Somalia
Both websites resolve successfully through Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8), but direct HTTPS connections to their Vercel edge IP addresses time out on TCP port 443.
Current DNS results:
- 216.198.79.131
- 64.29.17.131
- 216.198.79.195
- 64.29.17.195
The websites become accessible when using a VPN.
I have also tested multiple devices and both projects, so this does not appear to be isolated to one browser, computer, or Vercel project.
The affected address ranges include:
- 64.29.17.0/24
- 216.198.79.0/24
Could your network team investigate whether there is a regional routing, BGP, peering, or edge-connectivity issue affecting access from AS37371?
I can provide fresh diagnostic files generated using your official Vercel connectivity debugging script.
I would appreciate your help identifying the network-level cause and a recommended resolution.
