I have configured my domain xorbious.com to redirect to https://www.xorbious.com, but when I visit https://xorbious.com, I receive the error: “This site can’t be reached, xorbious.com refused to connect. ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.”
The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.
You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.
Hello,
The DNS propagation sometime takes upto 24 hours to configure. When did you setup the DNS record? Are you still seeing this error even on Incognito?
The domain has been up for almost a year, someone just brought it to my attention.
Without manually putting www
I get the connection refused.
On vercel i had configured xorbious.com to redirect to www.xorbious.com.
But visiting https://xorbious.com doesn’t redirect, that’s where i get the error
But going to https://www.xorbious.com works
I don’t think it’s a dns propagation thing
I can confirm that I also have issues, though not quite the same ones. I configured my domain, new-site.bestcodes.dev, to redirect to a Vercel app URL in the Vercel dashboard.
I see this when I visit my subdomain:
I should note that if I click “ignore”, the site does redirect as it should. If I turn redirects off (which I have at the time of posting), I see no warning in my browser.
For the Vercel team, here is a screenshot of my config:
Hello,
Can you also share a screenshot of the error? Is it a browser error or network error?
now i am getting timeout just visit https://xorbious.com/ you should get similar issue
Can you try different device and network without any browser extension? You are probably using corporate VPN / Firewall / Proxy or one of your browser extension is restricting the traffic.
