So, I upgraded my account to Pro on May 16th.
Just a bit ago, I clicked the “downgrade” button, and it switched me straight back to the Hobby plan. Kinda confused since my Pro subscription is brand new and should still be active.
Any idea why it downgraded immediately?
And what happens with the payment I made for Pro? Is there like a pro-rata refund or some credit for the time I won’t be using on Pro?
Just wondering what the options are can I get my account back on Pro for the time I paid for, or what can be done about this?
I have contacted the billing support, but until now there has been no response at all.
I understand your confusion about the immediate downgrade from Pro to Hobby after clicking the downgrade button.
Here’s what typically happens with Vercel plan downgrades:
Immediate downgrade: When you downgrade from Pro to Hobby, the change takes effect immediately rather than at the end of your billing cycle. This is standard Vercel behavior.
Pro-rated refund: Vercel generally issues pro-rated refunds for unused time when you downgrade. You should receive a credit for the remaining days you had paid for but won’t use.
Please contact Billing support with team details so team can look into this.
sir, I have contacted support since 3 days ago, and re-contacted billing support according to your suggestion since 2 days ago. until now there has been no response whatsoever. can you help to forward to the related support?
