Ive been working on a project for quite a while and after asking v0 to make a change it started hanging. After a while, i refreshed the page and the chat page does not load at all. Is there a way i can duplicate or restore to a previous version that loads without the chat being loaded since it is not?
There’s no official feature for this at the moment, but we have an internal query param we can use to select a certain version on initial page load
This is the ID of a few versions ago in your latest chat, if you add it to the end of the URL and refresh it should open the earlier version. Hopefully that lets you load the page and then you can select the second-latest chat or wherever you want and fork into a new chat

Can you help me, I have had this 2 times and had to start over from the last fork which literally costed me 30 dollars … in credits to even rebuild, like it just disappeared once and now this one is stuck loading, I keep spending my money and time and no help I get …

if you add that query param to the end of your chat URL, it should open with the second or third version selected instead of the latest, which means it won’t try to load the code from the latest, and then you should be able to find the last working chat and fork from there without losing data
It doesn’t seem to work, my fork of my project is: https://v0.dev/chat/fork-of-create-homepage-background-WyMuiQSVP9c and honestly I went further so many version it costed me around another 10 dollars, now I lost over 40 dollars for the AI to fail :c

Yes for me neither, I click the fork of my project and it just endlessly loads on a black screen
Hi Jacob / Support team, Please could you help on this. This is quite a set back for me at the moment due to not being able to access the project and make changes as needed. It’s also putting fear in confidence of this being a reliable tool to develop upon regardless of how great it is when it’s working… Any help much appreciated. Put simply i need to access the project to make changes on it within the chat as normal.

For future reference what can be done if something like this happens to avoid the time delays between manual support?
