Hello Vercel Team,
I need to remove the domain sharmaskitchenlafayette.com from my Vercel account, but I am currently blocked by the dashboard’s dangling DNS protection mechanism.
I no longer have access to the domain registrar (WordPress) and cannot change the nameservers away from Vercel. Consequently, attempting to delete the domain from my project returns this error:
“sharmaskitchenlafayette.com cannot be removed since it’s still using Vercel Nameservers.”
Since I am on the Hobby plan and cannot open a direct support ticket, could a Vercel staff member please manually force the removal of sharmaskitchenlafayette.com from my account on the backend? I understand the routing implications of executing this while the DNS records remain unchanged at the registrar level.
Thank you for your help,
Harsh
The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.
You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.
