I would just like to state that the new agent functionality where it auto detects the model to use for simplification is simply worse for power users, I make very delicate changes to my front end, having the agent “assume” the best model to choose should be an option, not forced feature.
A simple prompt for example “fix x component” could appear like a use case for a smaller model, however the complexity of each component requires it’s own specific model choice as only the user knows the complexity of what they are building.

This direction just does not make much sense.

Yes, there should be an option for the user to decide which model to use, especially for code fixes, where code generated was invalid. The user should only pay credits for the first fix of bad code. Additionally there should be checkbox to ensure no code is updated when a query is made or a prompt that was not expected to make any changes.
