Nexity is an open source system for starting and growing AI-native websites on Next.js + Sanity. It comes with an agent layer, so Claude Code, Codex or Cursor build new sections by your project's rules instead of guessing. We built it on 20+ client projects at Pagepro.
What the agent layer does
AGENTS.md,DESIGN.md,BRAND.md: how to build, how it looks, what the copy says. Agents read them first.create-sectionskill: checks if an existing section can do the job before it builds a new one- Four read-only reviewer agents: check the content model, styling, Sanity schema and GROQ queries
- Skills for project setup, link fixes, alt texts and Sanity audits
What editors get
- Sanity Studio 6 at
/adminwith click-to-edit preview - About two dozen ready sections
- Redirects managed in the CMS, live in about two minutes
- SEO fields on every page, sitemap, JSON-LD,
llms.txtand a Markdown version of every page
It only fits Next.js + Sanity sites.
Built with ▲ Vercel
- Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, Tailwind 4, shadcn/ui
- Tag-based revalidation: publishing in Sanity updates the pages, no rebuild
next/oggenerates the share images for every page- Vercel preview deployments are always noindex, and one
IS_INDEXABLEflag controls indexing in production sanity.blueprint.tssets up CORS and the revalidation webhook from env vars
Try it
You need Node 22.12+ and a free Sanity account.
npm create sanity@latest -- --template Pagepro/nexity/baseThe template command does not copy the skills and agents. Copy the .agents folder from the repo into your project.
For the demo with sample content, use Pagepro/nexity/theme-meridian and run pnpm seed. Use a fresh dataset, because the seed replaces documents with matching IDs.

What rule would you add to AGENTS.md before you let an agent touch your site?
