Since 2026-08-12 evening (Paris time), my MCP connection to https://mcp.vercel.com has been failing consistently with an HTTP 500 error. Still happening as of 2026-08-13.
Context
- Client: Claude Code (official
plugin:vercel:vercelplugin) - Team ID: team_OVcEMyt8tpfN8l54vbSCsj7x
- Project ID: prj_DBAKs8mKiCdUyiuyTxOrlXWK0DS2
- Vercel CLI: 56.3.1 (Node.js 24.14.0)
Troubleshooting already tried, no effect
- Simple reconnect via
/mcpin Claude Code → HTTP 500 - Cleared credentials and re-authenticated via OAuth → HTTP 500
vercel mcp --clients "Claude Code" --non-interactive(regenerated local MCP config) → config recreated successfully, but reconnect still fails after restarting the client- Local project already linked (
vercel linkin place,.vercel/project.jsonpresent with the correct projectId)
The public status page (vercel-status.com) shows no ongoing incident, so this looks account/token-specific or specific to this MCP endpoint. Anyone else seeing this, or any Vercel team member able to take a look?
