In v0, there are two separate concepts
- the Chat, which contains all of the messages
- the selected Block, which can be a CodeProject (with the preview and a filetree) or a few other types
I’m guessing you started asking a few questions after the last code generation that didn’t require code changes, and then that filled up the context window so it thought it was in a Q&A session rather than a CodeProject session
If you scroll up in your chat to the last time it generated a block, you can click it to open up the code/preview section again. Then if you go to this settings cog, you can click Fork to get a new chat with that block but none of the extra messages that were distracting the AI model
Then prompting should work properly again

Thanks, that worked, but can I suggest this is clearly must be a bug. You can’t have the system suddenly ‘lose’ the code / preview, because it’s gone into ‘Q&A’ mode with the user having to backup to last block generated.
Which leads to a very important point which MUST be addressed by the Dev team - there needs to be the option and to highlight that V0 is in build mode or answer mode. This mode should default to ‘build’, but provide the user option to toggle into ‘answer’ mode.
This stops V0 making changes when a question was asked and havung to suffix: don’t make changes. This should be a simple enhancement.
