The same thing happened to me, and v0 support doesn't provide any information about what happened, at least not a response!

Go to the project page and click on:

When I returned to the tab with the project, it had an error, and when I clicked to correct this error it simply disappeared, and the previous messages too.

Hello, I built my website using V0 (v0.dev). I had a full project and chat in V0 — but now the chat is completely disappeared and I cannot access my editable project anymore. ( I didn't delete it)

However, I do still have a working deployment on Vercel from June 13:

Is it possible to recover or restore my V0 project or chat, or export the original code?

@rogerin 's suggestion will fork whatever is committed to github, but will not restore the lost chat history and versions not deployed

I had the same problem this morning. Deployed a new fork with 50 chat prompts. New site doesn't work, and v0 deleted all of my related fork chats and the codebase. I lost 24 hours of progress with no way to review the problem.

Same problem, full working platform in a chat with 100+ versions just got wiped, chat still there but history and codebase gone.

edit: browsing through other threads, the thing that solved it for me was to delete the very first message in the (new, almost empty) history of the chat that contained your work. I did it and all previous message just magically reappeared. A refresh and the code base was back too.

I have the same problem - the only thing that works is to navigate back to the v0 home page, refresh, then click back into the project you're working on.

What's worse is EVERY TIME I prompt, the changes are done and then chat disappears so I have to do this work around over and over. SUPER ANNOYING

We've pushed a fix that should recover this - can some of you test it out and see if you've got your versions back?
