Hi Vercel Community team,
We are a Pro customer trying to get a private support case opened for human review of a question about the October 21 Node.js security advisory. Could a Vercel staff member help us reach Customer Support or Security through a working private channel?
The underlying technical question concerns CVE-2026-111497 in managed Node.js Functions that fetch external content. We have reviewed the published bulletin, including the limitation of inbound WAF protection for fetched responses. We would like human guidance on supported interim mitigation and how Pro customers should establish managed runtime patch coverage before replacing server credentials.
The support process has left us without a case number:
- The Help assistant repeatedly declined to create a case, and the documented Create Case control was unavailable. The team's Support page showed no cases.
- The separate Security Support form, under “Question about a CVE or security advisory,” rejected submission while signed in with the correct Pro team selected. It displayed: “Check your team permissions and support plan. Sign in with SSO if required, then try again. Your information has been kept.”
- We followed that form's Sign in link and retried once from the canonical advisory form; the same error returned.
- The security email address listed in the published advisory sent an automatic reply saying that inbox is not monitored for support and directed us back to Help.
- A fresh Help request about the intake-access failure also did not produce a case.
We understand that managed Node patch rollout is automatic. We are asking for access to a human support route and technical security guidance, rather than a custom rollout schedule. This concerns an already published advisory, rather than a new vulnerability report.
We can provide the account, project, deployment, and runtime evidence privately through a verified Vercel support channel. Could a staff member help get a tracked private support case opened, or explain the supported escalation path for this situation?
Thank you.
