How do I know what the limit of the pro plan is? I’m afraid of using it and using it and getting a sudden bill.
Hi @yisusprime, welcome to the Vercel Community!
I’m assuming you are talking about the v0 Premium plan. With the updated pricing, all plans have a set credits, so you’ll get credits worth of $20 in this case. If you consume all of the credits, you’ll not be automatically charged. Instead you’ll have an option to add on-demand credits or you can wait for your credits to reset at the end of the billing cycle.
I hope this was helpful.
very unhelpful when an output token is $37! the pricing keeps changing when I refresh the page, no clear pricing or how the tokens are used…
@zabouheif-6963 I’m not sure where $37 dollars comes into play. Guessing that’s a hypothetical number, but please let me know if you ran into a charge for that specific amount. That would definitely be something we need to look into
You can always check your remaining credits and get a list of usage events at v0.dev/chat/settings/billing
The announcement has some small, medium, and large example prompts and more info if you’re curious
Longer prompts and larger outputs use more tokens, so different actions cost different amounts.
That’s what your application says, if you can read carefully it does say $37.50… v0 Medium doesn’t generate meaningful data, Large is the previous model we’ve been using for a while. I’ve just cancelled next month payment and will use Bolt.New, until a more meaningful pricing is in place…
That’s $37.50 per 1M output tokens only when you elect to use the v0 Large
model instead of the v0 Medium
model for more intense use cases. So the total cost will vary based on actual usage. It isn’t a flat fee.
The medium v0-1.0-md
version was actually the original model. Choosing the medium option makes sense for most everyday tasks, but more complex situations can benefit from the new large option.
I hope that makes sense
