"Pro" Plan vs Credits

I’m on the “Hobby” plan and purchased $20 credits for v0 in January 2025. I purchased the credits so I could have more v0 chat requests.

I believe credits are going away (?) and wanted to know what migrating from “Hobby” plan to “Pro” plan with Vercel would do for me.

e.g. are there limits to how many V0 chats I can have with “Pro” plan? if so, what is the number of requests.

The Vercel Hobby and Pro plans are separate from the v0 plans.

You can learn more about the Vercel plans here: Find a plan to power your projects.
And then more about the v0 plans here: v0 by Vercel

Here’s an FAQ on the v0 page (linked above)

While v0 uses your Vercel account to log in, it is not part of your Vercel Pro team. For example, If you have a Vercel Pro team with one member ($20) and are part of the v0 Premium plan ($20), you would pay $40 in total, monthly.

And then here’s a little more information on the credit system that has now be deprecated:

The legacy version of v0 currently available at v0.dev is being deprecated and credits are no longer available for purchase. You can still use any credits you have, but they will not renew. After January 16, 2025, v0.dev/chat will be the sole offering for all users.

Thanks Josh, makes sense and with the removal of credits will be more straightforward.
