Problem with domain

I have connected my third party domain to a vercel and it is working fine but when I created a subdomain from my domain provider and pointed the dns to my own server.
When I go to my subdomain I am getting 404 deployment error from vercel but I have connected my subdomain to a completely different server why I am seeing this vercel error on my subdomain?
