Problem with ssl generating SSL Certificate

I’m having trouble issuing an SSL certificate for my custom domain: exp.condaty.com

  • I have correctly added the CNAME record.
  • I also added the TXT record.
  • There are no A or AAAA records.
  • The domain remains stuck at “Generating SSL Certificate” for several days.
  • The _acme-challenge TXT is never created or requested.

Can you please help ?

Thanks!

The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.

You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.

Hi @condatydev-5718, welcome to the Vercel Community!

Can you share the screenshot of the dashboard? In such cases, usually the solution is to remove the domain and add it back again.

Hi @anshumanb , I’ve done this several times and it still works. I also tried using a new subdomain, exp.condaty.com, and I’m having the same problem. I’ve attached a screenshot.

Hi @condatydev-5718, I’ve reached out to our Domains team to see what could be going wrong here. I’ll keep you posted.

Thank @anshumanb , I’ll be waiting.

Hi @condatydev-5718, just wanted to share that we’ve escalated this issue and are working to find the root cause.

Hi @condatydev-5718, we’ve have patched the code causing this issue. Your domains should be live with valid certs now. Can you confirm?

Hi @condatydev-5718 ,

Thank you for your detailed question.

I am able to pull the SSL for exp.condaty.com. Please see the screenshot below for reference.

Please note that it sometimes takes time for the SSL to be generated from Vercel.

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions. I’m here to help!

Thanks,
Chintan
