So, yes, the free credits, regarding the message I can’t show because I just attached a .zip file, but it was on 01/12/2025 at 9:00 PM (Brasilia time, Brazil). An hour ago in the chat it said that my credits had run out and that I could buy more, when I clicked to buy more, it gave me the option to choose the amount, and I put $10, and when I clicked to buy it said that I didn’t have permission.
Hmmm that is very odd tbh.

Hmmm super weird you cant purchase even the minimum amount of credits. Are you on a “Team” account or a personal “free” one?
I am wondering (and I could be totally wrong of course) is it maybe that you cant top up credits because you are not on a paid plan? I see it says to “upgrade plan”. Maybe you need to be on a paid plan to be able to have the “permission” to purchase more (and of course get more message limit)?
I actually dont know as I never tried to purchase more until I was already on a paid plan tbh.
About the free credits (or messages?) recharging after 24 hours…. again, no clue tbh. seems very odd on that.
Maybe wait til someone from the v0 team (or community) who knows more on this can properly help you out.
Or…. if youre keen on v0, why not just upgrade to the Premium plan (20USD) and then you will get those credits and all will work in the future should you need to purchase more.
The issue you mentioned about me not being able to buy credits because I don’t subscribe to a plan makes sense, you know… and I even thought about subscribing, but I found $20 a bit expensive for my budget. I thought the minimum was $10, if it were, I would have bought it… but thank you for your willingness to help me, have a great Wednesday!
Ah ok, yeah I totally understand. Yeah 20USD is the lowest entry point and then you can always top up at that lower amount…but you still get charged 20USD monthly.
I do have to say though, consider all the other options out there. They will be about the same (if not more) and the “control” you get with them (in my opinion only of course) is “less” than what you get with Vercel (full control of all things)…(again only speaking my opinion here from my experience with them and others haha).
Not sure if you are a student but there is also a student plan which maybe is better for you?
But again, maybe you can top up on a free plan,I actually dont know, but I know a v0 team member will know for sure. @pawlean maybe you can answer on this?

You are correct Sean. You need to have an active subscription: Pro, Team, or Enterprise to add on-demand credits.
There are $5 monthly credits with some dynamic daily message limit on the Free plan.

I actually dont think there is a student plan for v0. After I wrote that to you and looked into it to send you something, I cant find anything.

looks like it is for select schools only though at the moment. but have a look regardless.
