Hi all, looking for help escalating a critical production issue.
We’re a paying Pro customer. Yesterday morning (~08:29 UTC, 14 May 2026), our production Vercel project was deleted unexpectedly. The team activity log shows the deletion was performed by our team Owner account, but no one on our team consciously initiated the action, we suspect either a UI click-trap during unrelated team-admin cleanup, or an active browser session from a former collaborator that we hadn’t fully cleared.
All our domains (production marketing, member portal, staging) currently return DEPLOYMENT_NOT_FOUND. The site has been fully down for over 24 hours.
I filed a Sev-1 support ticket immediately and haven’t received a response yet. The platform is in beta so user impact is limited, but the trust impact of this happening once it’s rolled out properly is a real concern. I’d really appreciate:
Whether projects deleted within the last 48 hours are typically recoverable from Vercel’s backend backups
Any guidance on the right escalation path for an unresponsive Sev-1 ticket on a paid Pro plan
If any Vercel staff member here can flag this to the right team
Happy to share the ticket number, team ID, and project ID via DM. Thanks ![]()
For visibility, if there’s a specific channel I should be using for production escalation on Pro, please let me know.
