My v0 app has been very slow today. In the past few hours, the RAM consumption has gone from 2-3 gb to almost 10 gb in Chrome. For context, I have a brand new Beelink setup only for A.I. apps. At the moment, only v0 is up and the page is not responsive at all.
This morning the app took more than an hour before initializing anything today. I’ve spent $15 in the few hours and have made very little progress within the app. The credits are not the main issue; it’s simply taking too long to get anything done now.
I’ve also had to ask v0 to duplicate prompts countless times today. Not sure how much time and credits I’ve wasted repeating myself today. Maybe 5 hours. It’s a strange problem that happens after making 10-20 prompts. v0 does all the work in the background but makes no updates to the app for some reason.
My v0 seems to have consistent loading issues during the workday. I don’t have the same issues in the early morning or late at night. Not sure if it is app or server problem, but the Chrome page remains responsive and I can’t do anything in v0.
v0 is responsive now but still very slow and repeating a lot of simple steps. I’ve submitted a support case.
The agent is so slow and consuming so many credits. It literally froze when running out of credits and almost didn’t accept payment because Chrome froze too
Something needs to be done about the RAM consumption. I’m averaging 6 gb per session now. 2-3x more than usual.
Midday, v0 has become unresponsive and unusable for me again. This has become a reoccurring issue and I don’t know how to solve it. Any guidance on how to improve responsiveness or reduce RAM consumption will be helpful. Thanks.
I’ve had both errors since Tuesday (Slow & doesn’t load). I have two errors in Chrome and a 11.5% error rate with Vercel functions as well.
Some of those errors are my own fault due to building a bloated app. I’ve reversed several design changes but still have a lag in v0 (whether it’s with thinking or loading apps). It seems to chat centric because everything else in v0 runs well.
One issue I’ve noticed is the chat app doesn’t recommend forking or duplicating projects after 30-40 prompts. This one factor increasing my load time after +90 versions.
Yes, it made a big difference but it took 29 minutes of loading v0.app before I could even click Settings to Duplicate the project. If I didn’t have a second desktop, v0 would make main machine unusable.
Day 5 and my main apps wont load during the day, again. I forked the project and waited 33 minutes. Nothing loads. I’ve tried this with multiple browsers and multiple computers. The v0 website works fine but the app wont load within the site anymore. It worked last night.
The Published version is working but I have no ability to change or update features. This has become a serious issue now, for me and my clients.

For context, it has taken +2 hours for my main apps to load this morning. My other simpler v0 apps are working fine. If forking is a serious problem here, then we need to restore the chat notification reminding me to fork large projects. Or I need the ability to fork projects without opening the chatbot. Since the Chrome page is unresponsive, I can’t even click the Settings page to Duplicate the project.
I probably lost 7 hours waiting for these v0 apps to load this week.
It was only happening in my two major projects. Not sure what changed but I’ve noticed significant improvements in speed since Monday (9/29).
Over the weekend, I had to open the apps in Code (read-only) to prompt changes. The App Preview was slowing everything down and making Chrome unresponsive. But now the apps seem to work fine when I open v0.
