Both examples on https://vercel.com/connect/pubnub ("Use its data in agents and apps" and "Request PubNub credentials") call getToken with one argument. On October 27, that call threw a TypeError with @vercel/connect 2.4.0 and 2.5.6.
This call works on both versions:
await getToken('pubnub/acme-pubnub', { subject: { type: 'app' } });With it, our test app got the credential and delivered one PubNub message to a separate subscriber.
Two more changes for the same page:
- Say that the stored credential is the PubNub Secret Key and that it stays on the server.
- Say that publish and subscribe keys are separate app settings. With Access Manager, clients get a scoped token from the backend.
