Hi Vercel Team,
I recently purchased a new custom domain directly through Vercel: supalink.xyz.
Because I bought it directly from Vercel, my DNS is also managed by Vercel. However, when I try to add it to my project, I am blocked by the following error:
“This domain is linked to another Vercel account. To use it with this project, add a TXT record at _vercel.supalink.xyz to verify ownership. You can remove the record after verification is complete.”
Since Vercel is my DNS provider, I am unable to manually add this TXT verification record to bypass the error. Could a staff member please help me release or clear the stale association on this domain so I can use it with my project?

I already consulted the help agent. I’m here because that’s the only viable option I have. I can’t open a case because I’m on a free plan. I paid for the domain though so I expect it to work and I expect support for it.
I’m digging into the logs and found something odd. Are you trying to use this domain on a different account? In that case it would make sense that the domain requires verification
no I’m not. I have only one Vercel account. I bought the domain because it was listed as available.
