Hey everyone! I built Quick Grade Calculator (https://www.quickgradecalc.online), a free tool that helps teachers grade a whole stack of tests fast — enter the total points, tap "+1 wrong" (or press W) for each miss, and get an instant percentage and letter grade.
Built with Next.js (App Router), React, and Tailwind CSS, deployed on Vercel. A few things I focused on:
- No sign-up, no accounts, no data collection — everything runs client-side
- Fully customizable grading scale to match different school policies
- Decimal precision so partial credit isn't rounded away
- Keyboard shortcuts (W to mark wrong, R to reset) for grading a whole class quickly
It also includes a dedicated percentage-to-letter-grade converter and a grading guide covering weighted averages and GPA conversion.
Would love any feedback, especially on performance or anything that could be done better with the App Router!
