Hello Vercel team,
Team "ngoctoan1's projects" (Pro). Project "cuiudo" (beepmi.com), a SaaS still in development with zero paying customers.
On October 8 we found two defects in our own scheduled jobs that ran for months: a rules cron that scanned all user keys for every profile every minute, and a catalog sync cron that rewrote 2.2 GB of cached data every 30 minutes. They kept Fluid compute instances busy on every tick and drove the "Fluid Provisioned Memory" and "Fluid Active CPU" lines of our invoices (May to September 2026: VZK1PFSM-0006, -0008, -0010, -0011 and -0013), plus the Upstash marketplace invoices VZK1PFSM-0005, -0007, -0012 and -0014. Both defects are fixed and deployed, and we set a Spend Management budget.
We submitted the full explanation with evidence (Upstash usage charts, Monitor capture, invoice pages) through the Help Center chat today. The AI assistant answered that these usage types are non-refundable by policy and that a support case cannot be created, and that there is no e-mail channel. In July 2026 invoice VZK1PFSM-0009 was refunded in full for the same kind of runaway, so we know a human review is possible.
We are asking a member of the Billing team to open a case and review a full refund of the usage charges on those invoices to our credit card. We can provide every log, screenshot and the code diff of the fix. Thank you.
