Refuses to do simple tasks that he used to do without problems

I’ve been using V0 for about 4 months. I don’t have any programming experience, but during this time, I’ve been slowly building a small website for my business.

At the moment, I’m stuck because I can’t add images to the site. Tasks like this used to be done easily, without any issues. Now, when I try to give the system a prompt to add images to a page block, the chat either keeps “thinking” forever or returns an error like:
**“Your message or the text content of your attachment(s) exceeds the maximum length. Please delete your message and try again.”

Yes, I always refresh the chat when the system prompts me to. I’ve even tried starting new chats and pasting prompts or instructions from previous chats — this used to work, but not anymore.

Right now, it’s been almost five days of trying to get it to do simple tasks — and it just ignores everything I write. Instructions that used to work are no longer being executed.

Please help me understand what the problem might be.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I spent a few more days trying to work with the system, but unfortunately it wasn’t performing as well as it had previously. I’ve since switched to using Cline with Gemini 2.5, which has been much more stable and reliably follows the instructions I provide.

I should mention that I’m not a programmer - I’m simply using AI tools to help build my website. While I understand there may be technical reasons for the current limitations, the token restrictions make it financially challenging for users like myself who rely on these tools for projects outside of professional development work.

I hope the service can return to its previous reliability when possible, as it was working wonderfully before these issues arose.
