Hi, I need help from staff with a stuck ICANN registrant-email verification on my domain clicposta.com (team: clicposta, Hobby plan).
Problem: The domain's WHOIS/registrant contact email is misspelled: it shows noverascomatheu1@gmail.com (missing the "s"). It should be noverascomatheus1@gmail.com.
What I've tried (3 separate attempts, on different days):
- Domains -> clicposta.com -> Registrant Information -> corrected the Email field to noverascomatheus1@gmail.com -> clicked Save.
- The "Email Verification Required" ICANN-compliance modal appears, correctly showing the new address, and I confirm it.
- The request to /api/registrar/rpc returns HTTP 200 with no visible error.
- After a fresh page reload, the Email field in Registrant Information has reverted to the old misspelled noverascomatheu1@gmail.com, and the orange "You need to verify your email" banner reappears, still referencing the old address.
- I also used the banner's "Resend" button - got a "Verification email resent successfully" toast once - but no email ever arrived (checked inbox and spam for noverascomatheus1@gmail.com).
Important detail: My Vercel account's primary, verified login email is already exactly noverascomatheus1@gmail.com (confirmed in Account -> Settings -> Email, marked "Verified" and "Primary"). Per Vercel's own Knowledge Base article "Update ICANN domain information for a Vercel domain", using the same email as the account/team owner should trigger automatic verification without needing a confirmation email at all. That isn't happening here - the change simply doesn't persist.
I have a deadline shown in the dashboard of September 10, 2026 to avoid disruption to the domain, so I'd really appreciate manual help fixing the registrant contact record or investigating why the save isn't persisting. Thanks in advance!
