Vercel Support directed us to the Community because Vercel MCP is supported here during beta.
We would like Harness Development, a Rails-based general-purpose automation app, to be reviewed as a client for Vercel's official MCP server at https://mcp.vercel.com.
Client details:
- Client name: Harness Development
- Transport: Streamable HTTP
- OAuth flow: Authorization Code with PKCE S256
- Requested scopes:
openid offline_access - Environment: Development, with an HTTPS callback
Connections start private to the authorizing user. Tokens are encrypted at rest. Agent tool access is explicitly granted, and write actions require approval.
Could the Vercel MCP team review this client and confirm:
- How to submit our development callback URL privately for allowlisting.
- Whether approved clients should use Dynamic Client Registration, a pre-registered client, or a Client ID Metadata Document.
- Any demonstration or additional review information required.
We have not created a Vercel OAuth client ID yet. Please advise whether that is required before review.
