Hi Vercel Team,
I am writing to formally apply for a manual update and synchronization of Vercel’s internal Public Suffix List (PSL).
Currently, Vercel does not recognize the following domains as public suffixes, which causes a “Domain Verification” conflict for many developers using these services.
Requested Domains for PSL Inclusion:
ccwu.cc
cc.cd
us.ci
de5. net
The Problem: Vercel currently treats these domains as private apex domains. When a user tries to add a subdomain (e.g., project.ccwu.cc), the system requires verification of the root domain (ccwu.cc). Since these are public registries, users do not have access to the root DNS, making it impossible to complete the verification process.
Evidence of Public Suffix Status: These domains are already officially registered and active in the Mozilla Public Suffix List. You can verify them at: https://publicsuffix.org/list/public_suffix_list.dat
My Request: I kindly ask the Vercel engineering team to manually trigger a PSL sync or add a manual override for these four domains. This will allow the system to correctly identify them as public suffixes and enable independent subdomain verification (Subdomain-only verification flow).
This request is similar to the issue previously resolved for other community domains: Is-a-dev domain issue
Thank you for your assistance in supporting these developer-focused domain registries.
